GAiDFLY is a labs project of Comprendo, a small AI practice that builds working software with educators.
Why we built it
GAiDFLY started as a question from professional military education: how do you scale the most human-dependent part of teaching judgment — the oral defense — without automating away the judgment itself?
Our answer is deliberately narrow. The machine argues, relentlessly and in good faith, so that students get more rounds of pressure before the round that counts. It observes and records; it never grades.
The name is from Socrates, who called himself the gadfly of Athens — the thing that stings the noble horse awake.
